ABOUT

The One Tooth Bridge is a  composite resin fixed bridge with a patented stainless steel framework.

The framework has small retentive “talons” on each side that are bonded into undercut rest preps on the adjacent abutment teeth.

The One Tooth Bridge is a conservative, less invasive, economical and easy solution for both patients and dental practitioners.

Our experience has shown that dentists of all specialties have embraced these components and the procedures they make possible. The reversibility of the procedure allows greater flexibility in a dynamic treatment plan as in developing dentitions, long-term reconstructive therapy and periodontal maintenance cases.

The patient base includes not only those with economic considerations, but also those engaged in any treatment plan requiring potentially long-term and/or reversible fixed transitional prosthetics.

Ingenious approaches to replacing lost teeth date back thousands of years. What hasn't changed are the properties of physics. The whole idea has always been to secure the missing tooth to the ones that are still there.

With some clever engineering, and the availability of high tech nano-composite tooth colored materials, we have designed the One Tooth Bridge to be the simplest, hence most affordable, approach to replacing a single missing tooth.

The Monodont® Bridge was granted Patent Protection by the USPTO taking into account the simplicity of the design and improvement over prior art, hence it’s essentially universal applications .

The Monodont® Bridge, or One Tooth Bridge is currently registered with the FDA as a Class I

Dental Device: minimally invasive.

Monodont Bridge has been assigned insurance codes. Check with your Insurance Company for coverage.

CRA was founded in 1976 by Clinicians who believed Practitioners could confirm efficacy and clinical usefulness of new products and avoid both  the experimentation on patients and failures in the closet. With this purpose in mind, CR was organized as a unique volunteer group of Dental Professionals with the purpose of testing all types of dental products and disseminating results to colleagues throughout the world.

Each year, CR tests in excess of 750 different product brands, performing about 20,000 field evaluations. CR tests all types of dental products, including materials, devices, and equipment, plus techniques. Worldwide, products are purchased from distributors, secured from companies, and sent to CR by clinicians, inventors, and patients. Testing combines the efforts of 450 clinicians in 19 countries who volunteer their time and expertise, and 40 on-site scientists, engineers, and support staff.

The December 2004 Issue of the CRA Newsletter listed the Monodont Bridge as one of the most highly rated clinical evaluations performed that year.

CRA Report published in  October 2004

(Volume 28, Issue 10, page 3) indicated:

90.9% of patients were pleased with results,

88.6% of expectations were achieved,

89% of users would continue to use the MONODONT, or ONE TOOTH BRIDGE!

Dental Arts Laboratories, DAL, of Illinois, on the vanguard of Monodont Technology, has fabricated 12,000 Monodont Bridges for dentists nationwide to date, and continues to do new cases on a weekly basis.
