HOW DOES IT WORK?

One Tooth Bridge back view

The One Tooth Bridge, incorporating patented Monodont® Technology, is the ideal treatment alternative to:

  •  Three-unit bridge

  •  Acrylic flipper partial

  •  Maryland Bridge

  •  Single tooth implant

The pontic on the One Tooth Bridge is supported by a stainless steel framework. The framework has small retentive “talons” on each side that are bonded into the preps on either side. Requiring minimal tooth preparation, this affordable alternative is both esthetic and functional.

Simple, short, two-visit procedure

FIRST APPOINTMENT:

After taking a medical and dental history, the Dentist will check your bite, take an x-ray to make sure the supporting teeth are healthy enough to support the One Tooth Bridge, match the color with your natural teeth, and take an impression that will allow the Dental Laboratory to make models upon which to custom fabricate your One Tooth Bridge.

SECOND APPOINTMENT:

Step 1.

The Dentist will create two "dimples" (called "preps" in Dental Terminology) on the back sides of the supporting teeth that will anchor the One Tooth Bridge.

Step 2.

The One Tooth Bridge is tried in to make sure that it fits in harmony with the surrounding teeth as well as your bite.

Step 3.

The One Tooth Bridge is then bonded into the preps using the latest in nano-tech hybrid composite filling materials to securely lock it in place, making it a "fixed bridge".

Step 4.

You will be instructed on how to care for your One Tooth Bridge, and encouraged to seek regular routine dental care if you are not already doing so.
